Biography

Adam P. Natoli, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Quantitative and Clinical Psychology at Montclair State University in the United States. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University (2020), where he was also a George Stricker Research Fellow. His program of research investigates all aspects of how we measure latent constructs and strives to develop, evaluate, and apply advanced measurement and statistical methodologies to the empirical study of psychological assessment with a concentration on instrument psychometrics, culture’s role in personality disorders, multimethod assessment, and applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in these domains. He’s secured over $1 million (USD) in grant funding, authored 30+ peer-reviewed articles, is an Associate Editor of Assessment, and serves in several elected and appointed positions. Outside of academia, Dr. Natoli provides professional consultation services in the areas of research design and quantitative methodology, data analysis, psychological assessment, and other areas of clinical practice where he has worked with clients ranging from individual practitioners to large corporations. At the upcoming Days of Applied Psychology, Dr. Adam P. Natoli, Ph.D. will present a keynote lecture titled: Perhaps there is no global model of personality: Efforts to conceptualize and measure personality functioning and pathology across the world.
