Important

The deadline for abstract submissions has been extended until August 1st, 2023.

Dear colleagues,

The conference 19th Days of Applied Psychology will take place on September 29th and 30th, 2023, and it is organized by Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Niš (Ćirila i Metodija 2, Niš, Serbia). The official topic of the Conference this year is Transformative processes in society, environment, organization, and mental health practice. We accept submissions on any topic in psychological research.

We have decided that the 19th annual international scientific conference Days of Applied Psychology will be held in a hybrid format. Participants will be able to attend lectures and sessions online, via video conferencing software, as well as in person, in the premises of the Faculty of Philosophy. In this way, we will be able to use all the advantages of direct contact, which we had to sacrifice while organizing the conference in the pandemic circumstances, and keep the positive sides of online conferences, which we discovered in previous years. Those are wider international cooperation and greater availability of conference program to researchers geographically distant from Serbia.

Last-year conference gathered participants from 30 different countries. We want this conference to be a place where researchers from different parts of the world will connect, through the presentation of their research and discussion of current topics in the field of their interests. With this goal in mind, a unique Collaboration Hub session will be organized, where researchers will have the opportunity to present their projects, whose achievement requires expanding the network of collaborators beyond the borders of their country. If you are looking for collaborators for your project or would like to cooperate with other researchers on their projects, you are in the right place.

Guided by the idea of international cooperation as the one of the main goals of the conference, researchers from various domestic and foreign institutions were involved in the process of designing the program. The members of the Scientific Committee of this year's conference can be found here.

The planned forms of participation will be: keynote lecture, symposium, oral presentation, poster presentation, round table discussion, workshop, and book promotion. Keynote lectures will be held in person (it will also be possible to attend online) and online. Participation in the form of poster presentation will be possible only in person, in the premises of the Faculty of Philosophy, while all other forms of participation will be organized in a hybrid format. Working language of the conference is English.

The deadline for applications is August 1st, 2023. Abstracts should be between 200 and 300 words in length and submitted using the registration form. All abstracts will undergo a review process and authors will be notified of the acceptance of abstract(s). One author may participate in the Conference with up to three papers, but only once as the first author.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the online book of abstracts. After the conference, full text versions of presented papers will be published in a Proceedings book, after a reviewing process. These should be submitted between October 1st, 2023 and January 31st, 2024. Full-text papers are to be written in English. For more information, please review our Abstract Submission and Registration Guidelines.

Registration fee for online participation is 70,00 EUR/USD or 8.000,00, RSD or 95,00 EUR/USD or 11.000,00 RSD for participation in person (in this case conference material and dinner are included). Registration fee is to be paid per abstract, on the name of the first author. For detailed payment instructions, please consult the Registration Fees webpage.

BA and MA students are exempt from registration fee.

We are looking forward to meeting you at the conference!
